Race description:
Located on the bluff overlooking Seacliff State Beach the Santa Cruz Mermaid is by far our most scenic event. This clinic focuses on getting you prepared for the ocean swim and well trained to complete the race.
Please note:
The Team Mermaid Clinic does not guarantee entry to the Santa Cruz Mermaid. It is the athletes responsibility to sign up and register for the event. This event is expected to sell out. To register go to www.mermaidtriathlon.com. Team Mermaids receive a 20% discount on the registration price.
Training includes:
•Outdoor rides, runs and open water swimming
•Brick workouts (bike to run)
•Transition set up training and equipment knowledge
•Core workouts
•Periodic seminars from our sponsors and local athletes
Dates: Week of Aug. 17 (6 weeks program)*
*San Jose Area will meet one week day (Tuesday nights at 6pm or Thursday's at noon, your choice) and Saturday mornings.
*Santa Cruz area will meet one week day (Thursday nights at 6pm or Wednesday's at noon, your choice) and Saturday mornings.
Price: $210 (6 weeks, 2 sessions per week)
