Clinic #2 Santa Cruz Swim
Price: $40 (no cost with TM membership)
Date: June 21, Cowell's Beach
We will meet at Cowell's Beach in Santa Cruz to learn how to safely and
effectivly swim in the open water. This type of swim is very intimidating to
even the most experienced triathlete and we are excited to help you overcome
your fears and uncertaintity. The clinic will be 2 hours and is designed to
help you overcome your fears (you know the ones, everyone else has them
too...) and teach you how to stay calm and safe in the water. We will have
safety swimmers and paddlers in the water with you to help you at whatever
level you may be. There is no swimmer too inexperienced, this is for
everyone~ our goal is to give you a positive open water swimming experience.
We will put you into groups depending on your swimming abilities/feelings
and give you a great experience to start your spring training with. This
clinic is limited to 40 women and we reccomend you bring your swim gear
(goggles, swim cap, swim suit, wetsuit(optional)) and a picnic lunch as well
as your family and enjoy the beach when you are done!!
