MERMAID TRIATHLON AND DUATHLON ALAMEDA - June 11th
Our sprint triathlon and duathlon in Alameda is the perfect venue to do a triathlon! You'll be in good hands as the event features a flat bike course and a scenic run course along the bay. Plus, there's still time to sign up for one of our swim clinics or triathlon clinics to get you comfortable in the water and ready to rock 'n' roll. MERMAID RUN EAST BAY - Saturday, May 7th
Just four days left until the "movement" kicks off at Quarry Lakes Regional Park in Fremont. You too can find your inner mermaid and run happy this weekend! Plus, Mermaids participating in the run will pick up the latest in Mermaid fashion with the stylish run happy short sleeve participant hoodie! CLINICS FOR THE MERMAID TRI & DU ALAMEDA
Are you nervous about swimming in the open water? Our one day swim clinics are just the answer for you. The clinic takes place at Crown Beach in Alameda. We will focus on the emotional aspect of open water swimming and very gently guide you through an open water swim. We will have plenty of volunteers in the water and we will break up into groups depending on your swimming skills and abilities. The clinic costs $45 and you must pre-register. <details>

The Dream Mile - May 22nd, 2011
The Dream Mile is charity run/walk to raise funds for Vibha, a non-profit with a vision to ensure that every underprivileged child attains his or her right to education, health and opportunity.. The event will take place at the Joseph D Grant Park San Jose. <more>

Threshold Racing, Metro Triathlon - May 22nd, 2011
The Metro Triathlon follows some of the best cycling roads in San Jose! This Olympic Distance triathlon is a great early season race. Mermaids get a 10% discount on all Threshold events when signing up with the discount code "Mermaid"
