Congratulations!

We would like to thank all the Mermaids, Mighty Mermaids and mini mermaids for
coming out and racing in Santa Cruz last month. Each year we are impressed by the
spirit, enthusiasm, and hard work that everyone brings to the event. Kudos to you all!

A special thanks to the Harbor High School Girls Water Polo Team, the Monterey Bay Academy,
the Santa Clara Men's Rowing Team, Cypress High School and the Santa Clara Triathlon
Team for supplying event volunteers. In total, we donated over $4,000 to our volunteer
groups.

2009 Upcoming Events
Mermaid Bike Ride - 60 miles
Join us this Sunday for a scenic ride starting in Cupertino and heading north through Los
Altos, Woodside, and turning around in San Mateo on Skyline Road. All pre-registered
riders will receive pre-ride snacks, lunch and a Mermaid Series hat. <info>

Mermaid San Francisco Run - 5k, 10k, mini run
The run course takes you along the San Francisco Bay waterfront where you'll get close
up views of the bay and the majestic Golden Gate Bridge. Similar to all Mermaid events,
your entry includes a fashionable race t-shirt, finisher necklace, stylish race bag and a post
race pancake breakfast. We'll start the morning out with the mini mermaid girls 1.5 mile
run prior to the 5k and 10k. <info>
