It's not always easy to be eco-friendly, but we're doing our part to make a difference.
The Mermaid Series will feature a couple "eco-friendly" ideas including a bin for donating your old shoes to charity, organic cotton Mermaid apparel, finisher awards made from recycled metals, biodegradable water bottles and more. Also another one of our goals is to recycle 100% of the plastic water bottles.
In 2008 mermaids donated 300 pairs of shoes! Shoes were then donated to Club Dust, Finding Sophia and From Our Feet , World Re-Use a Shoe Program.
